Hey, So Glad You're Here!

Passion for cricket brought me to the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), Delhi, in 2000 from Dumka (Jharkhand).

 

The professional journey begun with the International Management Group’s Trans World International (IMG-TWI) and subsequently stints with TVTODAY group (AajTak and Headlines Today from 2002 to 2006) and Network 18 (CNN-IBN and News18India) allowed me to travel across the globe for multiple ICC cricket World Cups. I still have a strong desire to cover a Test match from Zimbabwe, Afghanistan and Ireland which is missing in my experience. 

 

Occasionally, I also interact with young journalists in my capacity as a guest lecturer at IIMC, Delhi and Dhenkanal and Manav Rachna University in Faridabad. 

 

I am an unabashed admirer of late Peter Roebuck and Simon Barnes’s writings.
